Plagiarism Policy

Apunar Khirikire is committed to academic integrity and strictly prohibits all forms of plagiarism, including self-plagiarism. Plagiarism involves the use of others’ work, ideas, data, or text without appropriate acknowledgment. Reusing one’s own previously published content without clear disclosure and proper citation is also considered unacceptable.

Plagiarism Limit

Manuscripts with more than 15% similarity (excluding properly cited references, quotations, and common phrases) will be automatically rejected.
Authors must ensure the originality of their submissions, accurately cite all sources, and are strongly advised to conduct plagiarism checks before submission.

Author Responsibilities

Authors are expected to uphold high ethical standards by ensuring that their submissions:

  • Are entirely original and free from plagiarism.
  • Properly cite all references, including texts, data, images, tables, or figures taken from other sources.
  • Avoid duplicate publication of their own prior works; if reuse is necessary, it must be clearly indicated and properly cited.
  • Perform a thorough plagiarism check using reliable plagiarism detection tools before submission.

Mandatory Author Agreement

All authors must submit a signed Author Agreement Form (available in the ‘Downloads’ section of the Apunar Khirikire website) confirming:

  • Originality of the submitted work.
  • Proper citation of all referenced materials.
  • Acceptance of Apunar Khirikire’s plagiarism policies and ethical publishing standards.

  • Immediate rejection or removal of the published article.
